Overview

On this Flying Carpet Tour, you will enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to cross two continents. You will see the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome.We visit the WWII battlefields of Gallipoli, the ancient city of Troy, place of the famed Trojan horse. Hit the site of Pergamum and its magnificent acropolis, temples, and library. Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Biblical World, and the best-preserved ancient city in Turkey, Ephesus. Visit the village of Sirince, Carpet Village Have a display of local hand-crafted leather goods. Tour the Pamukkale & Hierapolis. You will also tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hierapolis, a Biblical city located on hot springs. We visit the resort town of Fethiye, the museum town of Kayakoy, a deserted Greek village that includes two Greek Orthodox Churches. Also visit the Mevlana Museum, the Cappadocia region of Turkey, combining the fairy chimneys and Uchisar castle and Ankara .

Day 1 :Istanbul

Welcome to Istanbul! We will waiting you at the Airport and take you to your hotel. And the balance of the day is yours free to discover at your pace. Overnight Istanbul

Day 2 :Istanbul Old City

After breakfast, you experience a fully guided tour of the only city to cross two continents, touring the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Overnight Istanbul

Day 3 :Gallipoli Battlefields

Today we tour the WW1 battlegrounds of Gallipoli covering Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, Johnston's Jolly, real trenches and tunnels. Overnight Canakkale

Day 4 :Troy | Acropolis of Pergamum

Walk back in time now as we tour Troy and its famed Trojan Horse, followed by a tour of the beautiful acropolis of Pergamum. It's remarkable temples and library made it a famous cultural and political centre in its time. Overnight Kusadasi

Day 5 : Ephesus | Kusadasi

Absorb yourself in the history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a see to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical ambience of the aged city and theatre before proceeding to the earlier Greek village of Sirince, well-known for its fruit wines. Carpet weaving has long cultures in Turkey and at the carpet village we hear how the carpets made by hand and what determines their value. Overnight Kusadasi

Day 6 : Pamukkale | Hierapolis

This morning we will have a display of locally handcrafted leather gains before going to the great white calcium terraces, aka Travertines, in Pamukkale where we also travel the elderly city of Hierapolis. Take a dive, amongst Biblical columns, in the hot springs that used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers. Overnight Pamukkale

Day 7 : Aphrodisias | Fethiye

Today we ride south towards the Mediterranean shore, touring the Biblical site of Aphrodisias on the way. Overnight Fethiye

Day 8 : Fethiye

Today you can relax on a day cruise around the 12 Islands of Fethiye or feel one of Turkey's highlights on an optional day tour to Saklikent Gorge, Turkey's largest and deepest canyon. Overnight Fethiye

Day 9 :  Kayakoy | Antalya

Relaxing morning, before a late afternoon drive to the resort town of Antalya. On the way visiting the deserted Greek village of Kayakoy Overnight Antalya

Day 10 : Aspendos | Manavgat Waterfalls

Today, we will visit the great theatre at Aspendos, which known for one of the best-preserved theatres of Asia Minor, still used today. Then we will visit Manavgat Waterfalls for a pleasant resting spot. Overnight Antalya

Day 11 : Konya | Cappadocia

Early leaving for Cappadocia, stopping en-route to visit Konya and the mauseoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi with its accompanying museum. This afternoon we also stay to visit Sultanhani Caravansary, the largest in Anatolia. Overnight Cappadocia

Day 12 : Goreme | Uchisar Castle

Wonder at the lunar scenery with a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the fairy chimneys, Uchisar castle and more. Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening! Overnight Cappadocia

Day 13 : Ihlara Valley | Underground City

Today we trek through the wildly beautiful Ihlara Valley and explore the many levels of an underground city. Overnight Cappadocia

Day 14 : Ankara

Early morning departure to the nation's capital, Ankara, where we visit Anitkabir, mausoleum of the famed Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, before returning to Istanbul. Overnight Istanbul

Day 15 : Istanbul

After breakfast, our tour ends, and we transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
